Book Club Questions

Greetings!

Did you know that the latest Chrissy the Shih Tzu Cozy Mystery book, A Winter's Tail, contains book club questions, in addition to scrumptious recipes?

I'll be celebrating New Year's Eve with a quiet evening at home reading a mystery and watching my dogs (Shih Tzu puppy Sophie and senior Chihuahua, Chiquita) run after each other and play tug-of-war.

Wishing you many happy reading experiences in 2022!

Diane

Review of The End of Temperance Dare by Wendy Webb

Follow the narrator, Eleanor Harper, as she experiences her new surroundings that are simultaneously beautiful and creepy. All the doubt, the shock at her own behavior at Cliffside Manor, and the questioning of what's real pour out of her as Wendy Webb spins this atmospheric, mysterious, and sinister tale. Eleanor seeks to solve a puzzle involving her personal history, the retreat attendees, and the building itself. Webb's use of first-person narration adds depth to the reading experience, building tension, and keeping me turning pages until the climax. A unique and spooky ghost story I enjoyed immensely.
