A native Texan, Adriene Russell graduated from Pasadena’s Sam Rayburn high school in 1983.
As a young adult, she ministered to the deaf communities in Flint, Michigan and the Houston area. Through life changes and new opportunities, her ministry focus shifted to providing spiritual and emotional support to childhood abuse survivors.
From these experiences, Adriene learned several truths about the healing path that so many of us journey. Combining her training skills and desire to help others, she determined to write a book. The resulting story is designed to shed light on the consequences of abuse and to inspire hope for those in the healing process.
