Es un autor valenciano licenciado en Biología, especializado en genética, cosa que emplea en algunos de sus relatos. Aficionado a la literatura fantástica en todas sus formas y a la ciencia, también bajo cualquier etiqueta. Ha sido ganador de los premios Ignotus y Gandalf, y finalista del UPC y del Pablo Rido.

La parte científica en sus escritos, es decir la parte "hard" o“dura” está supeditada a la historia, de modo que sirve como base en torno a la cual girará el relato.
