David Beem on The ARK OF THE COVENANT: BEYOND RAIDERS
The year is 1936. You’re thick inside the Peruvian jungle. There’s the whisper of a gun sliding from its holster followed by the crack of a whip. A stubble-faced Harrison Ford steps into frame; Indiana Jones is born.
Actually, the year was 1981. The movie: Raiders of the Lost Ark. I was nine years old, and wasn’t exactly sure why I was watching the movie in the first place. Sure, Han Solo was in it, but the Millennium Falcon wasn’t. There were no space battles. No Jedi. But then the movie started to get good. Like–really good. And by the time people’s faces were melting off at the end, I knew: The Ark of the Covenant was too cool for school.
Thirty years later, I’m still in love with the Ark. But what parts of the legend, if any, are true? And, did it ever really even exist?

Interview with Sandy Wolters, Paranormal Romance Author
I am delighted to have my Twitter and Goodreads friend, Sandy Wolters, with me today to talk about her latest book, A BROTHER’S LOVE. Author of three books, Sandy has been an avid reader for years. To her husband’s dismay, she has bookshelves full of books, rooms full of books, boxes full of books. Her cars have books in them. About two years ago, her husband gave her the dream gift, a Kindle. It was love at first sight and her first foray into the world of ebooks. While she still has books everywhere, she no longer takes ten or twelve books with her when she goes on vacation. The only thing she needs is her Kindle. It never leaves her purse. In her life prior to becoming an author, she was a Legal Assistant/Office Manager for a wonderful local estate planning attorney (no criminals that she knows of!) Sandy and her husband, Michael, raised two beautiful, strong women so that’s who she writes about. The women in her books are strong individuals that have moments of weakness and frailty to work through.
Sandy has generously agreed to provide a free e-copy of A BROTHER’S LOVE for one reader. All you have to do is comment or ask a question at the end of the interview to be entered to win. To whet your appetite, check out her book trailer for A BROTHER’S LOVE at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lycg00...

Interview with Sharon Saracino, Author of DEATH BENEFITS
I am delighted to have my friend from Maryland Romance Writers, Sharon Saracino, with me today to talk about DEATH BENEFITS. Sharon Saracino was born and raised in the beautiful anthracite coal region of Northeastern Pennsylvania. A lifelong love of writing took a back seat to real life while she got married, raised a family, went back to college, and finally decided what she wanted to be when she grew up! The oldest of three siblings, she was raised in a small town rich in history and filled with characters galore! She began writing seriously again in 2006 in the non-fiction arena. Her work has appeared in Rehabilitation Nursing and The Pennsylvania Patient Safety Advisory. When she is not reading, writing, or pursuing amateur photography and genealogy, she works full time as a Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurse. She plans to win the lottery just as soon as she remembers to purchase a ticket, fantasizes about moving to Italy, brews limoncello, and spends time with her incredible husband, funny and talented son, two crazy dogs, and a cat…to whom the rest of them are all merely “staff”!
