Growing up in central WI, I learned to love reading from my Mother. She would buy me the comic books of the day and encourage me to read, as she did each afternoon. Eventually I learned, and never looked back.
I first tried writing around the age of 9 and have toyed with the notion throughout my adult life. I've always been my worst critic and, until 2014, I never tried to share or publish my work. My 654 page novel "THE PRIDE", was published on Amazon Kindle and in trade paperback through CreateSpace that year.

I seldom come back here as I never had much to see over the years. To answer that question; I would go to Dean R. Koontz's Moonlight Bay if only to see how the Christopher Snow trilogy ended. I loved Fear Nothing and Seize the Night, but he left us all hanging for a very long time.(less)

I am, however, not into literary masterpieces and never cared for The Great Gatsby all that much. What I write is mostly pulp. Something to be consumed by the common man or woman to help them escape the daily grind, if only for a while. I did obtain a copy of your book from Kindle and read the first few pages. It seems well thought out and well written thus far. Best of luck to you; you seem to be on the right track. I'll read more as time permits.(less)

"Very good quick read!

Since I'm Swedish I completely enjoyed this. Simple but with a lot of twists and turns. Shifters are my favorite and when I come across a good one I'm a happy person!"
