lets get some important things clear...
Perspective...
Perspectives that shape the framework are critical for success.
truths about who "you" are-
I am a philosophical consultant,
I believe in God as the truth that I am always trying to understand more deeply. I believe there is an accurate way to make ones way through the "life experience".
Perfection is the way it all begins, we fall away from this level as we age. I believe with a consistent, focused and accurate mind can regain that level of perfection.
What do you believe?
What method do you use to most accurately navigate through "Life"?
There are many to chose from, so did you pick "correctly"?
Of course you want to be on Gods side, right?
Boils down simply to- Creator or a destroyer?
If you are a creator, accurately you must be an active participant in the minute by minute control over your "person" - your mind and soul.
Know which you are- Creator or destroyer?

Purpose
Purpose is a result or a goal of an action intentionally undertaken
According to some philosophies, purpose is central to a good human life.
Most people hold that God is the force that created life, assigns purposes or potential purposes to people and that it is their mission to discover and fulfill them. Free will allows the reality that some will not complete their mission- while others will thrive with this freedom.
Natural tendencies may determine what sorts of purposes a person needs to pursue, but may not necessarily guarantee that he or she will pursue them, that being dependent on free will, or external factors such as location and available resources. Oftentimes, it is fundamental for one to attempt to fulfill the purpose one feels is theirs. But in some occasions, fulfillment of purpose is halted by the fear that the purpose one is trying to fulfill won't be fulfilled due to personal failure. In other words, someone who feels that they have a purpose, they must fulfill might not attempt to do so because of fear due to lack of resources or confidence.
Modern spiritual philosophy sees the purpose in life as improving the environment and world condition for all beings. In the most general sense, this means each individual must find their special talents and these gifts are then meant to serve others. In pursuing life from this perspective one may experience joy at the level of the soul. With this idea the personal and highest individual purpose of life is pursuit of soul level happiness. This is the first bliss that has followed the individual from birth. In most instances, it begins with the desire for acceptance and evolves to discovery of the individual’s genius or gift. Several methods exist for determining the soul's particular gifts and strengths, and thus its life purpose, such as the Life-Purpose System originally formulated by Dan Millman in his book The Life You Were Born to Live.
There is also a system I am most fond of, this method can be discovered in my books- Introductions…a story about God and Created (being released September 2012) With this method presented in a story format- the focus is on the individual and how choices all thru life create our past and our potential futures. Discovery of enlightenment, mindfulness and the ability to consistently and accurately make decisions is key.
Regardless of what method one chooses to accomplish the goal of seeking to clarify one's purpose in life, the purpose of life is to be aware of one's purpose in life and begin to discover how to optimize all talents or gifts.

educate yourself on everything you can...
Educate yourself on everything…
Go to school if you can
Read everything you can get your hands on- not just on the subjects you believe but also the ones that conflict with your beliefs.
Understand that there are people in this world that have an agenda that is evil and there are people with an agenda of good and there are indeed people with no agenda- know which category you are in.
Understand the battle between good and evil has never disappeared; it has only taken on new forms in new situations.
Know the importance of truth and compassion
Know that you are who you “act” like you
are- change if you need to
Know why others believe what they do
Know your family history
Know the history of the United States
Know the history of the world- as much as is possible
Understand the beauty of learning from your mistakes
Know that everything is a process
Understand you have a purpose…find it and begin to actualize it.

compassion- God and Jesus
Interesting that the the English noun compassion, means to suffer together with and when we consider the Bible's Second Epistle to the Corinthians is one place where God is spoken of as the "Father of compassion" and the "God of all comfort". Does this say or atleast imply that God suffers with us?
Jesus embodies for Christians, the very essence of compassion and relational care. Christ challenges Christians to forsake their own desires and to act compassionately towards others, particularly those in need or distress. Jesus assures his listeners in the Sermon on the Mount that, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." In the Parable of the Good Samaritan he holds up to his followers the ideal of compassionate conduct. True Christian compassion, say the Gospels, should extend to all, even to the extent of loving one's enemies.
That last part ends up being tough to belive and follow...but that doesn't mean it's wrong.

more on compassion...what the Buddha says
Compassion is very old but is it still a cornerstone of our society I wonder?... Hopefully I will learn the answer to this question during my research.
I liked this-
Compassion is that which makes the heart of the good move at the pain of others. It crushes and destroys the pain of others; thus, it is called compassion. It is called compassion because it shelters and embraces the distressed. - The Buddha.

Compassion
Step 3 is compassion...
Compassion is a virtue
one in which the emotional capacities of empathy and sympathy are regarded as a part of love itself. A cornerstone of greater social interconnection and humanism. A major part of the foundation for the highest principles in philosophy, society, and personhood.

Truth is mighty and will prevail. There is nothing the matter with this, except that it ain't so.

Researching Truth...the beauty of process
Truth has many paradigms, many examples...the simple beauty of Truth is that is "it is what it is" and with a focused mind it can be relatively simple to reognize.
Truth should most definetely be viewed as being on a spectrum. With Truth on one side and it's exact opposite falsehood. There is varying degrees and examples of each- for every situation.
There is a process involved with becoming aware of how Truth works. The Truth is not always easy to see, or understand. Therefore a specific process is needed to be utilized inorder to survey the situation and accurately make decisions, keeping you on the truth side of the spectrum. This is a good place to stay if you can because the falsehood side is uniquely clever and much more difficult to navigate thru. Eastern traditions have always spoke of a "way" or a "flow" to allign ones "self" with. This does appear to be extremely important to recognize as early in life as you can. Time does not have to be wasted...this is also a Truth.
When a process is utilized effectively it is truly spectacular to witness...

STEP ONE MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness is a specific and attentive awareness of the reality of all moments. It is a spiritual ability considered to be of great importance in the path to enlightenment according to the teaching of the Buddha. It is one of the seven factors of enlightenment. "Correct" or "right" mindfulness is the seventh element of the noble eightfold path.
Enlightenment is a specific and sustained state of being in which delusion has been overcome and is absent from the mind. Mindfulness, which is an attentive awareness of the reality of things (especially of the present moment) is an antidote to delusion and is considered as such a 'power'. This faculty develops into a specific power when it is coupled with clear true comprehension of whatever is taking place in any moment.
Mindfulness practice, inherited from the Buddhist tradition, is increasingly being employed in Western psychology to alleviate a variety of mental and physical conditions, including obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, and in the prevention of relapse in depression and drug addiction. Anyone can use it to discover enlightenment and the ability to make accurate decisions but more importantly your specific purpose and how to act.
Mindfulness should be implemented into one's day-to-day life maintaining as much as possible a calm awareness of one’s actions in every moment, feelings, the objects of your thoughts and perceptions, and consciousness itself. The practice of mindfulness supports self analysis resulting in the birth of wisdom A key innovative teaching method discovered long ago is that meditative stabilization, combined with liberating discernment– which is a complicated way of saying control your thoughts and know that your actions shape your possible futures. Think and choose wisely!
