STEP ONE MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness is a specific and attentive awareness of the reality of all moments. It is a spiritual ability considered to be of great importance in the path to enlightenment according to the teaching of the Buddha. It is one of the seven factors of enlightenment. "Correct" or "right" mindfulness is the seventh element of the noble eightfold path.
Enlightenment is a specific and sustained state of being in which delusion has been overcome and is absent from the mind. Mindfulness, which is an attentive awareness of the reality of things (especially of the present moment) is an antidote to delusion and is considered as such a 'power'. This faculty develops into a specific power when it is coupled with clear true comprehension of whatever is taking place in any moment.
Mindfulness practice, inherited from the Buddhist tradition, is increasingly being employed in Western psychology to alleviate a variety of mental and physical conditions, including obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, and in the prevention of relapse in depression and drug addiction. Anyone can use it to discover enlightenment and the ability to make accurate decisions but more importantly your specific purpose and how to act.
Mindfulness should be implemented into one's day-to-day life maintaining as much as possible a calm awareness of one’s actions in every moment, feelings, the objects of your thoughts and perceptions, and consciousness itself. The practice of mindfulness supports self analysis resulting in the birth of wisdom A key innovative teaching method discovered long ago is that meditative stabilization, combined with liberating discernment– which is a complicated way of saying control your thoughts and know that your actions shape your possible futures. Think and choose wisely!
