Some people are just fascinating, others may not be as interesting, but sometimes it is just fun when I am trying to invent a story. I try to remember how they looked, their eyes, their lips, their gestures. How can I describe a person so that the reader sees them as clearly as I do. Some I put in my character collection. Skype in The Classroom

I have joined SKYPE in The Classroom, a website that provides lessons by teachers, as well as visits by authors to distant classrooms. I taught in remotely located classrooms for many years in Bolivis, Peru, and Panama. So, I am happy to do author visits in classrooms where children have never met an author.
