Secrets in the Shallows


It's been a little while since I updated my GoodReads blog, so I thought I'd go ahead and do that now. It's been a great year for our paranormal murder mystery, "Secrets in the Shallows." Book 1 of the Monastery Murders, that I co-authored with Karen Vance Hammond, won the 2014 Paranormal Awards category for Fictional Literature! I'm so thrilled with the response to our book. Thank you to everyone who has supported Karen and I in our writing ventures. I'm also very excited about continuing this story into the second book in the series, "Devil in the Details." We anticipate to have it out early 2015. Although I am disappointed that we weren't able to finish it in time for the holidays in 2014, I would rather the story be exactly right than rush to complete it and not have it be finished exactly right. Look for more information soon on the release of "Devil in the Details."

In addition to the publishing news, I have been working on a new blog site. "On the Ragged Edge" will feature both the info for my books, reviews (for both mine and other authors), as well as any other projects that I am working on. I've also been working on some initial concepts for several screenplays with my other half, Chris Matheny. I'll provide updates on everything as they come available.
