The book was inspired by my sister, my granddaughter, and many students I taught in classes of Human Biology. I am a retired biologist and executive director. My goal has been to help women - especially young women (18-25) - become more aware of the realities of life. The book includes chapters on personal development, dating, relationships, sex, sexually-transmitted diseases, birth control, and the creation of a long-term commitment between a woman and a man.
