Another Exciting Review! ;-)
I'm so freaking speechless right now. I've been wanting to read this book since before it came out in April, and I was able to chat with the author on her FB, and I even got to do an interview over the phone back in April. (My notes are in my document files somewhere. I'm not very organized.) So I totally had high expectations for the book, and let me tell you I was not disappointed with it. I'm going to say this as calmly as I can I want DARIO. Move over Dimitri. No, I would never leave my Russian Guardian, but I now have a new Vegas Mobster. YEA! Okay, so maybe I'm not so speechless. LOL. This is not my actual review. I just had to get it out of my system. What an ending to...why...why...why. You guys if you haven't heard of the book before now I suggest you go and look it up. (It's has a giveaway going on here to. :) ) I mean VEGAS, THE MOB, SOULMATES (the concept may seem overdone but I found it so intriguing I actual went and looked it up on google. No joke.) Look for my actual review to come in a day or so. -still can't get over loving it! ~ Ashley Owens

Just finished reading Vegas Dazzle and I loved it!!! What a great , fun read that as hard to put down. Growing up in Las Vegas myself , this book brought back so many fun memories. Thank you Pam for bringing Vegas Dazzle to life & I cant wait to read Dark Moon!!! Congratulations . ~ Simone Loban

Is it worth it? You bet it is!
My life can be pretty crazy! Like today was insane! Not only am I some crazy girl that wrote a book "Vegas Dazzle" and wants the whole world to read it but I am also a mother of a kid that has dreams of being an actor. All I can say is WOW! Can I really do all this, I ask myself daily. Of course I can. Right? Today was the first day of high school for my son Bryce. After school I picked him up and drove him from the OC to Los Angeles for a call back audition with the Cartoon Network then after that audition back to the OC for another audition for a play at his new high school, which I might add took 3.5 hours. Then eating dinner at 9:30 in the evening, that has to be healthy, isn't it! I can see it now, "I'm not over weight doc what are you talking about? I can't eat full meals at 9:30 every evening." Oh I forgot all the homework that now has to be done followed by some sleep, maybe? Then there is tomorrow when we get to start it all over again. Did I mention that I seem to come up with new crazy ideas daily that I also have to squeeze into my insaneness! And don't forget I'm writing the second novel in my book series. You ask when do I fit that in? While driving up and down the 405 in the carpool lane @ 80 miles an hour! Don't worry officer I wasn't texting I'm only writing a novel, that's okay right! All for now! xoxo

A Beautiful Day
On a beautiful warm yet cloudy day I set off with friends and our dogs to paddle the rivers of Kauai.
Kauai Hawaii known for it's beautiful water falls and incredible rivers is the perfect setting for a paddleboard adventure.
Just as we arrive and place our boards in the water to paddle upstream, tiny rain drops start to fall from the gloom of the sky.
This wasn't going to stop us from finding the waterfall off in the near distance. As we begin paddling upstream the rain begins to come down harder and harder.
Not that a little rain hurts anyone, it does cause the river to flow more and more rapidly not in our favor. With the dogs holding on tightly we continue on our way up the winding river. Having to paddle twice as hard as the river begins to ripple, my shoulder begin to burn. Yet this does not stop me, yet challenges me to paddle harder allowing the intense raindrops to massage them actually soothing them. As I look around me through the dense rain, I notice the massiveness of the trees that surround me and the lush green landscape imbedded with tropical wild flowers of all colors. I feel the intense energy flowing through me--filling me with natures purest intensions. As the river begins to narrow the force of the water gets more intense. We almost question if we can even make it but we were all determined and unwilling to turn back. Continuing on we come to a point that we must leave our boards on the rivers edge and continue on foot. Rain still pounding down on us we make our way along the rivers bank at some points having to even push our way through the mad rivers current. Nearing the waterfall we first hear its rage as it drops over the rocks to the pool below. So excite to see its beauty I rush ahead up a steep hill and come over the top to a sight I will never forget. How nature can create such beauty is beyond me but I just love the way it makes me feel. Chills running throughout my body I feel my breath taken away for a brief moment of clarity. This was a true paradise that was being shared with us, with me. Although I was drenched through my core I felt my body warm with and inner peace and tranquility. I sit on the edge of a rock to take it all in ... the trip up the river on the paddleboards, the hike, the waterfall and how lucky I am to have such a wonderful experience.

Figuring it all out
Being a new author of YA book series can be a really fun adventure! I love meeting new fun people and sharing my books with them. It's all about the story and taking the reader on an adventure they don't want to ever stop traveling through! I love reading YA books myself and especially The Immortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. Her books are awesome and I love reading them! There is nothing like a great book! ;-)
