Old School Twitter Book Marketing

Use Twitter to Build Your VIP ListTwitter is great at helping you to identify those influence-makers in your industry. For aspiring writers, Twitter is not about connecting with potential readers. That comes after you have established a dedicated audience.Twitter provides you with the most mind-boggling data field of potential influence-makers ever assembled but you have to mine that data, sometimes three layers deep, and do this on a consistent and scheduled basis. It is like true detective work; digging and digging deep into the connections that populate those who are most likely to be intrigued by your book.This process involves Following and Unfollowing hundreds of Twitter accounts, tracking those contacts back to a physical place of business (or home address), and creating your VIP database offline which is separate and distinct from your Follow and Unfollow stream. Those streams will constantly change over time but your VIP list should be one that you consistently add to and keep in format that allows you to merge it into other programsHook Them, Old School-StyleNow that you have a database of influence-makers (authors, media, industry experts, etc.), you must reach out to them. Again, a spreadsheet approach here helps because the first method you will employ at making them aware of your book is not through digital solicitation but through snail mail. Think of how easy it is for your targets to delete your digital inquires. For literary agents, I sometimes think, this is the best part of their job.A simple, well-designed note card that announces your book and contains perforations to embed your novel’s business card is what we are after. Simple, elegant, Old-School. You can put your book business card inside as shown left.Follow Up.Once you have snail mailed your VIP list, then prepare your digital assault. This is when a small investment in a SEO optimized press release service, targeted to your specific industry makes sense. This should cost no more than fifty dollars and reinforces your name and title to the industry.These, of course, are baby steps in establishing the business-side of your Indie career path. They are investments that can grow over time. If it seems like a long and lonely road, keep in mind you do not walk alone. There is always someone out there with a larger voice than yours, waiting to discover your writing, if only you can get his or her attention.

Emotional journey

5.0 out of 5 stars Emotional journeyBy Latoya Brown A Romantic's Passion: The Tenth Muse A Romantic's Passion the Tenth Muse is an emotional and inspiring journey of true love. The kind of love that most of us only dream about finding one day, or only see in the movies.

But this book brings hope that it does exist due to it is based on a true story about a poet and the heat of his passion for his muse.

The book is filled with remarkable romantic poems, and love letters that the author has written to his muse through the years. I especially like that Valentinno shares his thoughts about his muse in private journal entries he has published in this brilliant work of romance.

It is amazing how the author put this book together and actually shared his real life romantic experience of love with his readers. It is a wonderful tribute to his muse, and that's what I call a true romantic...a man writing an entire book about his woman to tell the entire world how much he loves her.

Exile

Heavens exile has sent me fourth, banished! Cast out from admits the stars to wander the gravel beds of the earth in black. He whom seared my saffron wings had crossed me from sainthood to a mortal breathing sinner. As darkness breathes out, telling the twelve hour to midnight.
There I found myself alone in the desolate shadows, as venomous storms of wind, and thunder turned this earth to ash; where blood shed out of lakes of fire from the watery eyes of the moons eclipse. I have never seen more evil than the pain’s and torments that hell can hold in this cursed land.
The very sight of it can only more exhibit the paintings of my Fears that brush my face. I would soon rather see what dreams await me in the cold bed of death then look upon the savage glamour of this decayed rural prison. but since time has pause with no clock to bring count to my existence;
with immortality as my former I shall count the days and sullied nights till my untimely demise. I take those faults and crimes upon that brought me to this middle realm of judicious punishment, when I once lost my good path and those righteous angels were my judge.
But as I seek my travels I greet a dark castle standing, among the valley baring a maze of towing greens that shaped my heart with fear. There a statue structured in fleshy bone and blood, was built upon the graves of brave men who once dared to pass through natures wandering evil.
I look upon this statue of darkness for which decades it has stood, guarding a bloody stone path leading to a summit of a cliff as high as heaven, presenting a ridge, unsteady of wood and rope. With reason unexplained it set my travels forth with harm undone upon this perilous night.
And last in breath my soul turns to deaths grim face to stare-down his deep black eyes to push forward that bridge which none had ever crossed alive nor returned, and there I faced my fear no more the heart, and calm in breath.
I bare that crossing and much behold my life’s account over a devouring abyss, and escaped that bridges fatal wounds and made my way to the other side. There I approached a forest green, dark, haunting, with silence over long.

Word or Vow

To her own lips my own kisses sinfair desire bounds my heart in sweet division and do upon love’s altar true my dear angel has found her fame in heaven.
The wings of night sleep with endymion and by words or vow two bodies are interchanged and in exchange for her sweet loves joy. When promised, I swear by the golden bow of the moon;
That in amity, faithfulness, and adoration, I will keep my holy oath unbroken.With mouth to breath I kiss her diving eyes like a righteous veiling star in long bright fane, sparkling in their everlasting orbs.
Where those goliath rays move the deep night, O’ those rays that her cloud gazing eyes infuse in me as pure as unpainted virtue.She draws in the whirlwinds of passion that shake the velvet buds with beauties might.

Great compilation of beautiful poetry

[image error]

5.0 out of 5 stars Great compilation of beautiful poetry  A Romantic's Passion: The Tenth Muse

By lfostermom

I borrowed this book from a friend because she told me that I just HAD to read it. This book is compilation of poetry and photos by Valentinno, a native of Queens, NY who is a master of putting his love and passion for his muse onto paper. This book is a little hard to describe, because I don't think my words can really do it justice. It's a fairly large collection of romantic poems that are just magnificent. Romantics will eat this book up and non-romantics may be romantics after reading this. The easiest way for me to describe this book is to simply say that it makes me want a man to love me half as much as Valentinno loves his muse.
