I was born in Clinton, Iowa in 1960, and was raised in Morrison, Illinois. I attended the University of Kansas, majoring in Physics (BS, 1982) and Vanderbilt University (MS, 1985; PhD, 1987). In graduate school I worked in the Living State Physics Laboratory headed by John Wikswo. Grandparents For Vaccines

For the last six months, I’ve been the Michigan Representative of the volunteer group Grandparents For Vaccines. Our group’s mission is to ensure America’s grandchildren have their best start in life without the threat of vaccine-preventable diseases. We do this by sharing the stories of people who have lived during the time before vaccines were common.

Bradley’s Recent Updates

"For some time, I had suspected that the stupidity of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. runs deep. Just how deep, is a surprise even to me. Let me give you just two examples from a choice of plenty: EXAMPLE No 1 In January 2026, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. released ..." Read more of this blog post »

Interesting, but I don't have time and it is not by Meacham, but is a collection of documents and speaches from American history. I'll give it three stars just because I love Meacham's work, but realize I didn't read much of it. ...more

I usually enjoy Bill Bryson's books, but this one was just OK. At times it seemed he was trying too hard to be funny. And sometimes, what he meant as funny just sounded mean. But it was an interesting read, and I like travel books like these. ...more

“I do not believe in organized religion, herbal remedies, yoga, Reiki, kabbalah, deep massage, slow food, or chicken soup for the soul. The nostrums of Deepak Chopra and Barbara De Angelis cannot rescue people like me. I believe in crazyass passion.”
