Johnny Sawyer is an English Writer based in Hertfordshire, England. He writes both children's books and comedy fiction for adults.

His first book "The Film Freaks" was a superhero title with a difference (in that none of his heroes were as individuals that super). It is about a group of people who work in a cinema in Dorset who have to save the world but none of them have any special powers whatsoever. They all have mind blowing disabilities. As a title it has been described as kooky, spooky, insane and utterly hilarious!

The author has various other projects releasing between August and December 2025 and these include:
