Brooke Shaffner’s novel COUNTRY OF UNDER won a Next Generation Indie Book Award Grand Prize for Fiction, the 2024 Foreword Indies Silver Award for Literary Fiction, and the 1729 Book Prize, judged by Diane Zinna.
