For 40-plus years, D.H. Benson has been a working newspaper journalist, winning awards at the local, state and national level as a reporter and editor. He has also been a student of the Bible ever since coming to know Jesus as his savior in college. Early on with the help of dedicated friends he learned the habits of daily reading and memorization of Scripture, of meditating on and praying Scripture and studying it. In the years since, he has worked to help others engage with the Bible in private reading and study and in small groups.
