They say you should write the book you'd want to read...because you will be reading it a lot
As a kid, I watched the shining. The main characters insanity over a blank page did not resonate with me. As an adult who somehow out of all the paths in the world choose storytelling, it still doesn't resonate with me. He wants to go insane over writer's block, really? He should have waited for that none sense when he had a story he had to read a billion times, and edit a first draft, a second, a third, a fourth, a fifth, ahhhhhh!
See what I mean, and I haven't even gotten to marketing. Marketing is when I think it's acceptable to run around with an ax and write redrum on the walls. Writing can also be exciting, though, and I'm happy to announce amongst this chaotic new post that I received the first look at my new cover of book 2 of "Harbor of Secrets."
It's moment like this and the readers and supporters out there that make this all worth it. I can't wait to show everyone what the cover looks like and details on the release.
