I really Just wanted to sing.
First, I want to talk about how I came to write Revival: The True Fairy Tale. Well, first of all, I am not a writer. I don’t have any bachelor’s and master's degrees in literature. I’m also dyslexic, so I have a hard time with words and math. For me spelling and grammar is a trial. Yes, I liked to write, but just things like songs and maybe a little poetry, but one thing I never planned on writing, was a book! …
I really just wanted to sing for the Lord after I had got saved back in 1993. I wrote a lot of songs but could not sing. I do not have a very good voice. The doors to sing were occasional and most of them for years, remained closed. I would have visions and thoughts of a book in my head 'Revival: The True Fairy Tale' that's what I was to call it and it would be Christian Fiction. Over the years I wrote down visions and dreams that I would have relating to this book. I would put them away for a later time.
One night, I had a dream. I heard a voice call me. It called me three times and when I listened it said: 'Seek the Lord diligently Lydia, for He has chosen you to be His servant. One day many years later after much disappointment in my life, I started to talk about the book to my youngest daughter in the car as we were going home, she said ‘mom why don’t you start writing that book, So, that very day I went home, got on my computer, went to my word processor and started writing Revival: The True Fairy Tale. Little did I know the struggle I was about to undergo, just trying to write this book! The only thing I knew about writing was put a capital letter at the beginning of every sentence and a period at the end-that’s it, that’s all I knew! It was like the Lord gave me a pencil and a piece of paper and led me out, up to my neck in the deep waters of literature, with minimum knowledge about it... But my daughter began to help me, which was a great help, she knew more about literature than I did, but it still wasn't enough, because she did not know everything about literature either. Together we did the best we could until we thought it was complete . . . but we were so wrong, every time.
The book has been revised numerous times and professionally edited twice. But we still have obstacles to face.
"UNFORTUNATELY," our book may still have some error and grammar mistakes despite all our revisions and countless efforts to make it perfect.
There’s a Holy story told through Revival: The True Fairy Tale. It conveys God's Glory and His Righteousness throughout its content.

Does the Lord really love us just the way we are?
Does the Lord really love us just the way we are?
I heard this said many times from Christians or just plain folk, “Jesus loves you just the way you are” and yes, that is a good saying, and a good thought, but does He really love us just the way we are. Well if He does, why should we turn from any sin, if whom we are is drinking and partying, sexual immorality, drugs, cursing and so on, why should we turn, if we are loved just the way we are, we should not have to turn from anything, right? We are pleasing, just... as... we... are. Humm, I ask myself, why should I turn from anything? I’m loved just like I am. Well, I read in the Bible where this woman was caught in sin, John chapter 8:11, I think her name was Mary Magdalene, Jesus forgave her, and told her: Go and leave your life of sin. He even told another man that he healed in John chapter 5:14: Stop sinning before something worst happens to you. So I thought ok, He seemed to have loved them, but, not the way they were, not the things they were doing, he wanted them to stop; change their ways, so he corrected and warned them. Therefore, how did we come up with, Jesus loves us just the way we are, with so much talk in the Bible about repenting. So I figure, the truth is, he does not love us just the way we are, but I do believe He died for us, just the way we are, in all our sin, He took to the cross, and died for. But, He does not love us, just the way we are, He doesn’t love the sins we may be committing, He tells and warns us to turn from iniquity, and repent … So this is my conclusion; Jesus loves the sinner; but, He hates the sins we commit. So what we really should be saying is: Jesus died for you just the way you are. But he wants us to go and sin no more, and to stop sinning before something worst happens to us…with his help of course and the blood that he shed, because some sins are hard to turn from, the flesh is weak, and craves sin, so we need much prayer and fasting and help from the spirit of the Lord, or Satan will defeat us and this lost and dying world will help the evil one destroy us. Even people in high places will encourage you to keep sin in your life and they have no shame in doing so; throwing his Holy Word to the ground.
