New Deaf Fiction
From the author of The Ghosts of Melrose now comes the riveting life account of Frank Schantz. Little Frankie Schantz emerged into a near perfect life in Centerville, Iowa. He believed that his life would always be so. He was wrong. Everything would change in the summer of 1945 when meningitis would leave him permanently deaf. In Silence of Centerville, Frank Schantz looks back across the rocky landscape of his life and delivers his own story from the perspective of an aging deaf man. As a boy, Frankie would endure the ostracism and loneliness that plagued so many deaf Americans during their darkest era. Over the course of decades, Frank would discover that nothing in life, not even the harshest of times, can last forever.

The Lynching of Hiram Wilson
On July 6th, 1870, a young man rode into Chariton, Iowa from Missouri. He sold his only horse, and entered a tavern on the town square, but never drank a drop. Local citizens, suspicious of anyone from Missouri as a possible horse thief so soon after the Civil War, summoned the local sheriff. Sheriff Gaylord Lyman went to the saloon to question the young man about his horse. Within hours, both men would be dead.
The Lynching of Hiram Wilson seeks to recreate these events and breathe life back into this long forgotten true story with a fictional account that will leave readers wishing that they could turn back the hands of time.
If you fancy a journey, this novel will be officially released in the building on the Chariton, Iowa square July 1st through the 4th and the author will be on hand to sign copies.
If you can't make it to Chariton for the book or the 4th of July festivities, you can purchase this book on Amazon or for your Kindle. I hope you enjoy The Lynching of Hiram Wilson.

Iowa Love Story Released!
Hey gang! I finally released my new novel entitled, The Ghosts Of Melrose. I already have a large number of book signing dates and my book can be found in a growing number of independent book stores throughout the state. Locally, the book is a big hit, but it is time to start getting the word out to folks who live beyond the border...in the reading netherlands. If it is as well received beyond Iowa as it has been here so far I only fear that I will have scant time to write the next one I am working on!
