Roberto González Rivera writes fast-paced, dialog-centered tropical thrillers set in the Caribbean, where he grew up.

Two of his series, The Caribbean Chronicles and the Leonardo Bravo series, are historical fiction.

The first celebrates real-life unsung heroes and the second follows fictional characters in the early twentieth century, a time of great social turmoil in the Caribbean.

The Caribbean Cases novels are contemporary thrillers.

His protagonists tend to be flawed, anti-heroic figures with their own sense of right and wrong, living in a morally ambiguous world populated by quirky characters.
