Saving Sonny James, Vasquez and James book 4, coming October 2013!
Yes! I've had word from Dreamspinner!
The fouth Vasquez and James suspense/romance story, Saving Sonny James , has a projected release in October. That's just about four months away!
Two places that figure quite prominently in this story are their own beautiful home on the straits of Juan de Fuca,
and the 13th Arrodissement in Paris, France.

Vasquez and James: Because of Jade coming in 2014
Hey everyone! I hope your holidays went joyously and you're off to a good start for the winter. I've missed visiting here, but life is a little calmer at the moment. I have time for a little news:
This year started out great with a contract from Dreamspinner Press for a very different Vasquez and James novel: Because of Jade . Small teasers—Remember Jade, from the novella Yes? Well, she's a little star in this book. And Luki still gets to be a badass!

, but unfortunately it didn't get posted here. If you haven't seen it, take a look. Reese Dante has done a wonderful job (in my completely unbiased opinion ;) ) on all the Vasquez and James covers, but this one... oh, my. I love it.

Luki Vasquez receives the news he’s still cancer free after five years, and he wants to celebrate with his whole family. Halfway to their destination, Luki learns Josh and Ruthie have met a tragic death. The horrible news lays Luki low, but he pulls himself together in time to be the family’s rock and see to the dreaded business of tying up loose ends. The most important business is Jade, and when Luki and Sonny head home, they take Jade with them.
Luki and Sonny must combat self-doubt and fear and help each other learn to parent an unexpected child—and they must also nourish the love that has kept them whole for the past ten years. A relative’s spurious claim to Jade threatens the new family, and even if they prevail in court, they could lose their little girl unless they can rescue Jade from evil hands and true peril.
