The only two titles in print at the moment are Hating Olivia and Nowhere Near Hollywood, which you probably know. They are available through Amazon UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=mark+saf...

They are the first and the last in the series. The other volumes -- Lounge Lizard, God Bless America, and Dirty Work -- recently went out of print. I'm working on getting them back into print as soon as possible. I know that the prices for them are outrageous, so hopefully I figure out a way to remedy that. I hope this helps, Jim. Please let me know how you fare. And thanks again.(less)

Of course time is compressed, etc., but the Zajack novels are very close to my experience. They are also severely edited in their final versions, and I sometimes wonder whether some of the more interesting material ends up on the cutting room floor. My other work -- books like NO STRINGS and THE SUICIDE -- come from an altogether different place.(less)

“For the first time in a long while I was in the mood to accomplish something. I switched off the TV and pulled out the Oriole epilepsy drug ads and spread them over my desk. Then I picked up my red pen and went to work.”

“A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.”
Lao Tzu

“New York! The white prisons, the sidewalks swarming with maggots, the breadlines, the opium joints that are built like palaces, the kikes that are there, the lepers, the thugs, and above all, the ennui, the monotony of faces, streets, legs, houses, skyscrapers, meals, posters, jobs, crimes, loves... A whole city erected over a hollow pit of nothingness. Meaningless. Absolute meaningless.”
Henry Miller, Tropic of Cancer
