Phrique /frēk/ noun.

1. An exhibition, a strange deviation from nature. Adorable, Evil.

2. An extremely new and extremely YOUNG splatterpunk/horror/bizarro author with stories to tell. They’re kinda scary, kinda graphic, kinda campy, kinda stupid, kinda random. Kinda like him.

3. Phrique is a Pisces who enjoys crying and taking baths. His hobbies include angering the townspeople and outliving his enemies. His favorite color is purple & his favorite state is "your mom." Everything frightens him. Who are you people and who let you in here? Unhand me.

He can be found escaping his responsibilities here:

“You were supposed to help me, whore!” Antonio rolled his eyes and shouted, “Just let me finish this chapter, then I’ll be right there. I promise.”
Phrique, Gig of the Damned: Slay the Competition

“Since time immemorial, humankind’s greatest natural predator has been the clown.”
Grady Hendrix, Paperbacks from Hell: The Twisted History of '70s and '80s Horror Fiction

“Hating clowns is a waste of time because you’ll never loathe a clown as much as he loathes himself, but a magician? Magicians think they’re wise and witty, full of patter and panache, walking around like they didn’t deserve to be shot in the back of the head and dumped in a lake. For all the grandeur of its self-regard, magic consists of nothing more than making a total stranger feel stupid. Worse, the magician usually dresses like a jackass.”
Grady Hendrix, Paperbacks from Hell: The Twisted History of '70s and '80s Horror Fiction

“Marasco was a high school English teacher, so his illusions about human nature had long ago been stomped to death.”
Grady Hendrix, Paperbacks from Hell: The Twisted History of '70s and '80s Horror Fiction

“Do the curtains match the carpet? Hell no!”
Daniel J. Volpe, Talia
