A few years ago, I left the rat race and moved to Central America. Perched atop a mountain in the middle of a jungle with a beautiful view of the local lake, I settled into retirement. But I found I wanted to do something productive with my time. Fun, yes… but still productive.

I chose writing. I don’t know why. The only fiction I had ever written was my yearly employee review. Never had I tried telling a story. I am hooked.

Today, you can find me enjoying the view, writing my fantasies in the peaceful confines of a little house outside a (very) small town. When I am not writing, I am playing guitar, hanging with friends, or being bossed around by my two cats.

All in the shadow of an active volcano.
