Raghav Rao is a Chicago-based writer. Born in Mumbai, he grew up in London, Los Angeles, and Southern India. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His debut novel, MISSY, is forthcoming in September 2024 with Penguin Random House (India) - Vintage Books and Hera Books (UK & Commonwealth). He enjoys bird-watching, biking, and playing squash. Announcing A New 2026 Project - Typing Word-For-Word 'Great Expectations' by Charles Dickens on Livestream

I’m ecstatic to announce this project, re-typing, word-for-word, all ~183,000 words of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations!

For 2026 and into the first few months of 2027, on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings (roughly 9:30pm CDT), I will be livestreaming it as well. Don’t worry! If that’s past your bedtime, the recordings will remain available later, too on the Youtube channel.
