Greetings! I am corn-bred and corn-fed from America's heartland. But life's trails led me to reside in Washington, California, Minnesota, Michigan, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico, with a brief stint in Austria. After 14 years in the travel industry, I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Neuropsychology, allowing me to work with neurodivergent individuals of all ages and train other professionals for the next 20 years. My formal career ended with 6 joyful years running elementary school libraries. Here is what keeps me going through thick and thin: For almost 60+ years, I have been a yogini, with ongoing study and practice rooted in traditions stretching back more than 7,000 years. Where do your plot ideas come from?

I write because stories get into my head and refuse to budge until I write them! Shamaness came to me in a dream, complete from start to finish. But writing it took several years. Nick and Clancy was inspired by real life family events and people. A Waltz Across Time was inspired by my husband's ancestors as depicted in photo albums and family lore.
