Kelli Galyean liked Aurlyn's status update Aurlyn is starting Theo of Golden: Ok I’m giving this book another chance - the last hour of listening to it was actually so good and beautiful and made me want to go back through and listen again. I think it probably just wasn’t the best book to listen to while studying for finals

I enjoyed this story. Loved the characters, loved being back in Waterford. It was a very slow burn. Pacing could be an issue for some, but it was perfect for my season of life.

This was a weird read for me. It was pretty dark, with all the subterfuge and murder. The dual POV helped, because the characters were all very difficult to get a handle on. You couldn't go on anyone's actions. It was hard to know who to root for, an ...more
