ROB MARSHALL has vast experience in the outdoors and has enjoyed tramping, hunting and fishing for many years. I have had a love of New Zealand’s native bush and our beautiful mountains and rivers all my life. I was inspired to write a hunting novel based on my adventures hunting and tramping in the wilderness. My inspiration was driven by a desire to share descriptions of New Zealand’s native bush, mountains and rivers with people who are not able to see it for themselves. As a hunter and tramper you are always looking into the next valley or over to the next mountain or peak to see what is there, knowing that you will have to go and have a look.
