Marie Harbon is a British speculative fiction writer who likes to dabble with themes of epic proportions. She loves to create character driven fiction and finds the human race both fascinating and frustrating. Her books have underlying spiritual themes and range from science fiction to dystopians, and from paranormal fantasies to high octane adventures.

In the past, she has been a fitness instructor and college lecturer, but now she focuses on teaching English as a foreign language, writing and editing. She currently lives in Spain although she has also resided in The Czech Republic and Slovakia, where she taught English and travelled around Europe.

Marie Harbon If you don't like science, then don't read a science fiction book. Read the blurb: it clearly states what to expect. If you want everything to unfold in one book, then don't read something that indicates it's the first of five books. If you don't like a story set in different decades, then don't read it; it clearly states in the blurb it moves through the 40s, 60s to modern day. Don't moan when something does exactly what it says on the tin.
