MB Stephens is an award-winning writer who is passionate about representing diverse characters to ensure that all youth feel seen and understood.

MB is the wife of a home-improvement-loving husband and the mother of two strong-willed girls, two rambunctious boys, and two doodle puppies.

Inspiration for Galilee was sparked by her experience teaching urban youth as well as the experiences of her children in urban schools. She has a dual BS in General Education and Special Education with an English concentration and an MS in Special Education focusing on behavior analysis.
