I co-wrote my first book in 2003 and have published several since then, as well as producing numerous instructional videos. For the last five years, I've regularly published articles on my blog at http://www.wimsblog.com and enjoy it immensely. It's extra writing practice...

One of my articles caught the eye of one of the great men in this niche, Loren W. Christensen. He liked it and asked if I wanted to write a book together. At first I was floored by the offer. Then a bit scared: Was I good enough?
I decided to take the plunge and it was a lot of fun, which made me keep on writing. Loren ended up writing three books together and I wrote some smaller pieces for several of his books as well.

The age of Western humiliation

This article is more than ten years in the making, so bear with me as I set it up.

The past 25 years, I’ve written, talked, and made videos about self-defense, martial arts and related topics. At first, my focus was on how to train and physically defend against aggressors. Over time, it evolved into covering the physiological and psychological aspects of violence. That in turn led to how and why v
