I should really read the blurbs before reading a book. Sigh. Little did I know that I was getting into a whole novel that revolves around Only Fans. I have come back, much enlightened. Honestly, this read like a YA novel that slowly becomes stale. Ev ...more

Such an unconventional book. Yet so absorbing. I finished this in a weekend. Worth the read and makes you just think about life a bit more.

I didn't realize this was Christian fiction until I came to Goodreads. But it doesn't matter.

This is a book about impossible characters and kindness
You believe in both. And for the time being, that's enough.

So much, so much to love about this book. Sparse dialog. A lot of inner reveals. A protagonist you can't quite decide you like or dislike. And melancholy.

Just that it was too melancholic. Yes, even for me. It can drag a bit with the winding prose. B

I needed a book where I didn't have to think and this fit the bill! Unpredictable, yes
But the heart of the whole problem was rather unbelievable and hollow. But okay. Swallow disbelief and settle in.
