Not many authors make friendship the main theme of their novel. But Backman has created a little gem here. Something poignant, nostalgic, hopeful, and heartbreaking.

The writing is fast-paced as you may expect from Backman. It flows, even though it c

One of the best books I have read this year. I don't know how to describe the intensity of this book. Glasgow chokes you with her words. She fills you up with the pain. There's no way out of the relentless nature of this book.

It's pain. Beauty. Loss

I really don't do well with romances. Sigh. I thought I would give this a try, but time traveling was too confusing, especially if you place it in the context of someone not being able to step off a train. There's only so much my mind can stretch.

What an utterly delightful book. Sweet and heart-warming. Friendship. Love. Redemption. Hope. And above all, life in all its breathtaking beauty.

This is a gem. Readable. Moving. And relatable.

It's tough to write a sequel. But Michael Thomas Ford has pulled it off. I loved his Suicude Notes, and while this doesn't have the same urgency as that, it's still an interesting exploration into modern relationships.

Can be overly long, but the pac

A stunningly poetic book, luminous in its intensity and use of language. I confess I am not a sci-fi or speculative fiction fan. I rarely read dystopian literature. I picked this up unknowingly, and I wasn't disappointed. Okay, maybe the ending was.

It's been a long time since I read a book in a day. But Suicide Notes was so readable and I couldn't keep the book down.

I have already bought the sequel because I am that eager to know how Jeff leads his life after his release from psych ward.

The title of the book alone says it all. This is a book on ADHD for "smart-ass women." NOT for us struggling folks who don't want to call this a superpower.

It comes across as self-promotional and lacks practical use. Most of it you would know anyway

It's hard to classify this book. So tender. Such a gentle offering to life.

And what are we here for, if not to help another?

That is the question the book seeks to answer.
