Dear Readers,
Self-publishing is hard. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how it all works. Looking up how to do this and how to do that has resulted in so many varying answers that it's difficult to discern which is correct, or at least the most correct. But I will persist! I've also decided on using another formatting platform; I was using KindleCreate, but I've switched to Atticus. So far so good.
I've also expanded and will be publishing my paperback copies to B&N Press and IngramSpark! I'll update you again when it's set up.

Well, I did it--I finished my first book! All I'm doing now is double checking my formatting and ordering a test copy of the paperback. I feel nervous and excited all at the same time! I'll update you more when it's out. Thank you so much for being here for this new chapter.

Dear Readers,
Before I begin writing today, I wanted to let you know where I'm currently at in the manuscript for The Rowbury Raven. Right now, I have written 16,644 words! I'm a little ways off from finished, but progress is progress. My goal for this book is to have around 300 pages (printed). Wish me luck and a lot of creativity!

I wanted to find a way to connect with you more personally and thought that maybe a blog post here and there may provide that!
Full transparency, writing a book is hard. I've had an abundance of ideas and a general outline for how everything will go, but actively writing it and trying to make sure all of the pieces fit together can be difficult. However, it's wonderfully exciting! I can't wait to release my first book, The Rowbury Raven, soon for all of you to enjoy.
