Writer's and Tea
Last Saturday, January 31st, I had the pleasure of meeting Harlequin romance writer, Muriel Jensen.
Through a chance meeting, her warmth and kindness invited this stranger into her home while she autographed a newspaper clipping that I held in my hands as well as a copy of her latest book, In My Dreams.
Last Saturday we had a proper meeting as we sat down to tea, homemade bread and cookies. I also had the pleasure of meeting her husband, Roy, a joy indeed.
Muriel has such a wit about her, and I truly enjoyed the time we spent together.
To see a person that you admire on a personal level, reminds me of the Wizard of Oz when Toto pulls back the curtain to reveal the Wizard. In this case, Muriel is the real deal. Warm, witty and a joy to be around.
I will always treasure our Saturday tea and the lessons I learned from this grand lady. Many heartfelt thanks to you Muriel Jensen and the best to you always.
