I'm one of Chicago's very own, born and raised in the Northside of Chicago. I reside in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, where I've lived since 2017. Even though I no longer live in Chi-town, I'm still a die-hard Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, and Cubs fan. Portillo's has several Florida locations where I can get my Italian Beef and Chicago-style hot dog fix, and I hit up Giordano's whenever I'm in the Orlando area. My favorite pastime is watching my daughter play volleyball.

Origin Story

I've considered writing this book for many years but struggled with sharing intimate and embarrassing moments and feelings. I'm a private person and usually don't volunteer information. Elaborating and being an open book is way out of my comfort zone. Many times I asked myself: What are you doing? Are you really going to tell people that?
