Casey Carter (1980- ) is an American poet, painter and songwriter. His books include: Currents (2006) Woods By Day Bars By Night (2012) Aflame (2016) Raw Heart Honey (2016) Falling Leaves Observation (2017) Green Satyr Wood Shrooms (2019) and Arcane Change (2020).

Proletarian Vitamins (2013) is the musical companion to Woods By Day Bars By Night.

His paintings include: Casting Nets (1999) Human Narratives (2005) Frequency Dreams (2012) Oregon Beeswax (2016) and more.

He is currently working on a 8th volume of poetry, a novel and recording a second studio album titled Skyscapes.

I let it come on its own while working on other aspects of life. Whatever lets the unconscious relax and marinate becomes the muse. Something Jungian, a little maybe and that too.

Casey Carter I am currently tightening the screws on my sixth book entitled Arcane Change. Although not a cookbook, I wrote the book primarily while cooking in Lon…moreI am currently tightening the screws on my sixth book entitled Arcane Change. Although not a cookbook, I wrote the book primarily while cooking in Long Island, New York kitchens. Based on these experiences learning the craft, I do plan on publishing a cookbook in the future.

I am also recording my second album which is going well. The first being Proletarian Vitamins. No title for this new one yet. It will come to me in a storm down the line.(less)
