Isabella Stofka moved around a lot growing up until finally settling in Rockville, Maryland with her husband and three cats. Ever since she was little, Isabella has woven epic stories in her mind and rambled about them to anyone who would listen. Eventually, she discovered the fine art of writing them down and has never turned back.

When she is not writing, she is either binge-watching her favorite TV show for the 20th time or devouring a good book—all while getting kitty cuddles, of course.

You can find her on Instagram at @isabellastofka_author, or on her website at isabellastofkaauthor.com

"This was written very well, the story had me hooked. Unfortunetly, that’s because the story has already been written, this is plagiarized Fourth Wing. "

“She was not in a castle. She was not at a ball. There was no girl, no sister, no prince. There was just her, alone in this bathroom, the tile planted firmly beneath her feet.
She could smell the lavender.”
Isabella Stofka, Curses of Lavender

“Thicket wasn't normal. She was anything but normal, though she longed to be.”
Isabella Stofka

“Sorry wasn’t anything compared to the loss of one’s parents. She would know. She knew loss. Knew its taste—salty and acidic. Knew its smell, putrid yet fresh like water. Knew its sounds—hollow and sharp, at least when something was able to penetrate the wall of silence.
Knew how it felt—like your entire world had shattered into pieces.
Sorry couldn’t help any of that. Couldn’t heal the cracks in one’s heart. Couldn’t numb the pain.”
Isabella Stofka, Curses of Lavender
