Edward Payne is an award winning Radio Presenter, Drama School Graduate and Author.

He graduated from drama school in 2009 and began writing his first novel "Mr Impossible". In that time, as a Presenter on Whitechapel AM, he won Silver in the Best Newcomer category of the Hospital Broadcasting Association awards in 2011. In 2012 he won Bronze in the Best Male category.

He currently lives and works in Cheltenham, presenting on Radio Winchcombe and writing.

"Hell Wears A Neckerchief" is his first short story, released in 2015 and a new novel: Nine Tenths is currently in the works to be released in 2018.

He hates writing about himself in the third person.... ...more

Mr Impossible 99p!

Well guys. Finally, after years of not using this amazing website, I am now a Goodreads Author!

To celebrate the event, I will be offering my first book: Mr Impossible for 99p on Kindle as of tomorrow 22nd Jan for the entire week.

Work on my current new novel: Nine Tenths is still happening and we are now looking at a release date for the first week of March.

Far too many interchangeable characters in a convoluted plot line with far too many twists, turns and third act reveals. Plot holes filled with spontaneous exposition, but you can’t deny the quality of the writing.

This is like a diary written of every little thing this person does, without any character development or plot to speak of. For someone so good on the radio, this is all just dead air.

Not really for me. I appreciated it, I followed it but it wasn’t exactly brimming with sumptuous plot. It was almost a little too smug in its delivery and slow in pace. Billed itself as a mystery, but I’m not sure the mystery was ever solved…..
