VM Larsson, a Swedish author, is fascinated by how life shapes us into who we are, and she embraces the challenge of capturing the complexities of human nature in her writing.

To perfect her craft, she immerses herself in textbooks and preliminary investigation reports while staying updated on the latest real-life drama in the news. Accurately portraying police procedures is essential for believability but must also serve the story.

When she is not writing, you’ll likely find her strolling along deserted beaches, where the solitude sparks her imagination—perfect for dreaming up tales of serial killers and the heroes who bring them to justice.

VM’s Recent Updates

VM Larsson and 11 other people liked Berengaria's status update
Berengaria
Berengaria is on page 52 of 304 of The Platform Edge: the publication date of these stories range about 100 years. I'm interested in "moving spirits" that is those on roads, canals, railways etc vs stationary ones in houses and buildings. This anthology has historical info with it, both on railways and on ghost stories with that as a theme - not just Dickens!!!

" 3 stars

short review for busy readers:
A book styled off of a PhD thesis, and it shows. Good and interesting content, but misses the mark in its attempt to be readable for a lay audience.

in detail:
The biggest difficulty in this book is the arrangement" Read more of this review »

" 2.5 stars

short review for busy readers:
Somewhat awkwardly written and repetitive (trying to make word count?), but nevertheless fairly informative about what scant information on these early hominids exist. The first half of the book traces the gene" Read more of this review »
