Where I'll be: Signing SCOTLAND FOR CHRISTMAS at the public Romance Writers of America Literacy Autographing, Marriott Marquis, New York City, July 22, 2015 from 5:30-7:30 PM.

What I'm writing: Currently starting Ashley's story, the heroine's sister in OUT OF HIS LEAGUE.

Also waiting for edits on the sequel to THE LONG WAY HOME. I don't have a publishing date yet, but I expect it will be in spring, 2016.

My skating hobby update: Choreography is finished on my OUTLANDER program. I love it! Thank you, Coach Sveta.

"Otis the Cat" update: Sadly, Otis has been ill this week, and we're trying to pinpoint why. Please keep good thoughts for Otis!

November 2015 Update

What I'm writing: Currently working on a connected novel to the Boston-set baseball book OUT OF HIS LEAGUE. This will be Ashley's story (the heroine's sister).

What's on pre-order: THE SECRET BETWEEN THEM is coming out in April. This is a Wallis Point, NH connected book. Here's the back cover blurb:

They share more than a past

Wounded, weary and wiser, ex-marine Kyle Northrup had planned to stay far away from Wallis Point. But after his stepfather's passing, he must return home and claim his unexpected inheritance: the ice rink he grew up on. Except he has to share ownership with Jessica Hughes, the hometown girl who got away and whose figure skating career he ended. He'd hoped the rink would save him once more, as it had when he was a grief-stricken youth, but working with Jessica will be hard. Especially since his teenage infatuation is now full-blown adult attraction. And the last thing he wants to do is hurt Jessica again.

"Otis the Cat" update: Otis's illness this summer was caused by poisoning of some type (pesticides?). With the help of a great veterinarian and lots of TLC, he rallied. He's 15, but still going strong.

What I'm working on now: Currently finishing revisions for THE GOOD MOM, a follow-on story to OUT OF HIS LEAGUE. This will be up for preorder soon, with a to-be-published date of October 2016.

How is Otis the cat? Fantastic, thanks for asking! :-) He's 16 now and fully recovered from last summer's poisoning scare. Still primarily an outdoor cat, he hangs out on my desk with me only if the weather is bad.

October 2016 Update

Hello, Readers!

What's New: THE GOOD MOM releases this week in paperback. This Boston-set story is a connected book to OUT OF HIS LEAGUE:
It’s all for Brandon

Single mom Ashley LaValley will do anything to help her twelve-year-old son, a cancer survivor, achieve his dream of becoming a doctor. Even uproot their lives and relocate to Boston when Brandon gets a scholarship to an exclusive prep school. Even accept help when Brandon risks flunking out…

Even when that help comes from Dr. Aidan Lowe, an arrogant, abrasive man recently returned from a stint in Afghanistan. But the guy’s also charismatic and wickedly sexy. Ashley’s spent years putting her son’s needs first. Now Aidan’s reminding her that she has needs of her own…

Check out the Goodreads giveaway, ending on October 5th.

What I'm working on now: Two stories set in the Wallis Point series, these books will feature all-new main characters while revisiting some old favorites.

What's Otis the Cat up to? Ruling the neighborhood. He's savoring the great weather and mooching treats whenever the outdoor grill is turned on. Winter is coming, though, and he'll soon be joining me back in the writing office.

November 2018 Update

Hello, Readers!

What's New This Season: A sweet Christmas romance in large print, and a French-language winter skier romance in hardcover!

Christmas at Prescott Inn by Cathryn Parry Christmas at Prescott Inn is my first Harlequin Heartwarming-published romance novel. If you like sweet Christmas romances, New England country inns in the mountains, figure-skating holiday shows, reunion romances, plus homeless cats adopted by kids, then this might be the story for you!

Here's the back cover copy:

She’s back in his life…

But will they end up under the mistletoe?

Emilie O’Shea and her figure-skating troupe find themselves homeless…until a Christmas miracle lands them at a quaint inn in New Hampshire. Emilie is excited—then she discovers the inn’s scrooge-like owner is her ex-fiancé, Nathan Prescott. With assistance from a little boy, an adorable cat and her skaters, Emilie helps Nathan find hope in the season…and hope in their future.

Un week-end de fête by Cathryn Parry The second book published this season is a French-language reprint of Something to Prove, a downhill skier romance. Something to Prove is still available in e-books, while Un Week-end de Fete is available in both hardcover and e-book versions.

Coming Next: Stay tuned for special news in Spring 2019.

Happy holidays!
