Fiona Citkin came to the U.S. as a Fulbright Scholar studying languages and cultures at Kent State University, OH. A professional educator, author, and internationally renowned intercultural consultant, she has two doctorate degrees and speaks three languages.
Her first book written in America was rooted in her consulting practice: Transformational Diversity (SHRM Publishing, 2011). It marries intercultural studies with diversity and inclusion, has been widely used by human resources departments, consultants, and college instructors. For this book and her consulting combined, Fiona was awarded a prestigious 2012 Top Champion of Diversity title by DiversityBusiness.com, a think-tank.
