There …moreI get to make sense out of the world. When I wrote my memoir "The Shyster's Daughter" I was able to encapsulate my relationship with my father. There were a lot of dark times, but also some really good ones too. People might "Google" my dad and see certain things about him. But then they can also read my book and find out my truth. Nobody gets to take that away from you after publication. It's your story. It's out there now.
Being a writer allows your voice to be heard. (less)
