The Last Girl To Die
Today I have revealed the cover of my next book #TheLastGirlToDie and I'm incredibly excited to share it with you. It's all based around the real folklore of the Isle of Mull, about a Spanish Galleon that sank in the harbour of Tobermory Bay. A beautiful princess was said to have been in charge of it, and dreamt that she would fall in love with a man from Mull. She did, but he was married. The man's wife sought help from the witch of Mull who cursed the boat. The flames took it as it tried to leave, and it was soon no more than a memory beneath the waves. The king, stunned by his daughter's loss, sent more ships to punish the mull witches, but in doing so, harmed every woman on the island. I won't tell you how - you'll have to read it for that. I loved researching and writing it, and I hope you'll love reading it too. Out of September 1st. Can't wait!

One for Sorrow
My new crime novel publishes in February 2022, and it's called One for Sorrow. Although it is a Luc & Ava book, it will read as a standalone, so that readers of the series and new readers can enjoy it equally. You don't need to know anything about the characters to get stuck in. It even features Dr Connie Woolwine, briefly, from The Shadow Man (I do love some crossover). But the real story is about Quinn who meets a man she thinks many turn out to be the one, but she very quickly realises he's toxic. Come to Edinburgh for a series of bombings that will leave the city in mourning. And as for Luc & Ava...well, their story continues here too. Hope you enjoy. Feel free to ask any questions you like on the book page. Best wishes, Helen
