Enjoyable but not incredible A collection of short stories that skim around the world of Scythes. Some more enjoyable than others. Not as addictive as the original trilogy but entertaining enough. |

Great idea to encourage her to do reviews. I follow a blog that is done by a kid who is about 11. In case you are interested in showing your daughter here is the link .... http://thiskidreviewsbooks.com/

It's great that you're taking this opportunity to write children's fiction--I think at some point I'd like to take a break from adult fiction and write a few adventure stories. I'm planning to get Golden Scarab for my daughter to read over summer break, and have her practice writing a review (why not have kids write reviews in their own words?). Best of luck, and have fun with this (if nothing else, it's a nice bit of legacy to leave for kids, grandkids, etc.).
