Christina 'CEE BEE' Bauer thinks that fantasy books are like bacon: they just make life better. All of which is why she writes young adult romance novels that feature demons, dragons, wizards, witches, elves, elementals, and a bunch of random stuff that she brainstorms while riding the Boston T. Oh, and she includes lots of humor and kick-ass chicks, too. Christina lives in Newton, MA with her husband, son, and semi-insane golden retriever, Ruby. She loves to connect with her fans at ChristinaBauerAuthor.com.

I have a series on Portia and Tempest's kids mapped out that's part of the Angelbound Origins Series (Books 3-5, starting with ZINNIA in the summer of 2019). There is also at least one book on Walker in the Angebound Worlds Series, which kicks off with XAVIER in 2019 (Yes, it's the story of how he fell in love). I have so many flipping stories in my head and not enough hours in the day to get them out! Thanks so much for the note--I love hearing from readers!(less)

A Personal Update

Dear Readers,

Many of you know my son Max, who has intellectual disability, autism, and my full heart.  I’m taking a break from social media and self-publishing to focus on Max’s transition to adult residential living and all the changes that come with it.

Thank you for all your messages of support.

Christina

“Don’t let the nay-sayers get you down,”
Christina Bauer, Scala

“Guys, you really don’t have to do that.” The Head Alchemist, Erik, has white blonde hair and wildly mismatched eyes of dark brown and ice blue. “But that’s a proper greeting for the Great Scala.” “Well, honestly, it’s creeping me out. As the Great Scala, I hereby order you to call me Myla and not hop around when I enter the room.” “As you command, Great Scala.” I shoot him a dry look. “I mean, that’s cool, Myla.”
Christina Bauer, Scala

“Class, today we’ll learn about Earth’s most important holiday. It’s a month-long celebration of ghoul superiority called Halloween.”
Christina Bauer, Angelbound

“NO reader has ANY obligation to an author, whether it be to leave a review or to write a "constructive" one. I put out a product. You are consumers of that product. Since when does that mean you have to kiss my ass? Hey, I like Pop-Tarts and eat them a few times a year; since when does that mean I'm obligated to support Kellogg's in any way except legally purchasing the Pop-Tarts before I eat them? I wasn't aware that purchasing and consuming a product meant I was under some sort of fucking thrall in which I'm only allowed to either praise the Pop-Tart (which to be honest isn't hard, especially the S'mores flavor) or, if I am going to criticize a flavor, offer a specific and detailed analysis as to why, phrased in as inoffensive and gentle a manner as possible so as not to upset the gentle people at Kellogg's."

Christina Bauer You are so very welcome! Thanks for reaching out and letting me know that you enjoy my work!

Sherry Hi Christina, thank you for accepting my friend request. I've already read The first book of AngleBound Origins, Angelbound. I just love Myla, she's tough as nails, with humorous sarcastic comments along the way, and Lincoln 1st yummy and a perfect match for Myla. (Just my little opinion). The rest are on my TBR-list. I like having all the books first, so I've preordered the ones ready to be released soon. Thanks again Sher

Sharon L Hi Chrisrina,
thank you so much for accepting my friend vite :)

I really enjoyed Angelbound, and I can't wait to see what you write up next.

Even though Angelbound's ending was somewhat bittersweet, I know Myla & Lincoln will be OK (at least, I hope they will)
