Simon Langley-Evans, a retired academic, currently resides in Leicestershire, sharing his home with his wife and an assortment of grumpy feline companions. Freed from the restraint of academic life, Simon now enjoys the contemplation of wildlife and the art of writing.

During his highly successful academic career, Langley-Evans left an indelible mark, most notably through the creation of three editions of a pivotal textbook for undergraduate and masters level nutrition and dietetics students. The culmination of his expertise, the third edition, titled "Nutrition, Health and Disease: a Lifespan Approach," was published by Wiley in 2021.
