After making his mark as an award-winning journalist and science writer in Uruguay, Rogelio Fojo made a bold leap into the world of filmmaking. He honed his craft in Los Angeles, working on a wide range of productions and earning a Kodak grant to direct his debut film, Chimera, which went on to win Best Film at the Pasadena Film Festival. That early success led him to the IFP/West Project mentoring program and onto the set of Buying the Cow, a Hollywood comedy starring Ryan Reynolds.
