From Book to Screen? The Future of One Million Times Begins

Hello, friends and Traversers in time—

I'm excited to share that "One Million Times" is officially out in the world! Published on April 7, 2025, by Elsewhen Press, this sci-fi anthology—created in collaboration with JPL scientist R. James Doyle—is just the beginning.

This August, Richard and I will be at Worldcon 2025 in Seattle, where we'll dive into time travel, storytelling, and the future of this book as a TV series. If you’re attending, please stop by, say hello, and bring your copy of One Million Times for a signature!

The anthology features contributions from legends like Christopher Priest (The Prestige), David Gerrold (The Trouble With Tribbles), and RC Matheson (The Ritual of Illusion), alongside amazing works by Teika Marija Smits (Umbilical) and Fernando Sorrentino (How To Defend Yourself Against Scorpions). And yes, we’ll share all about the mysterious calegüinas—birds with unique reality-bending properties! Trust me, you'll want to know more.

One Million Times is more than just a collection of stories—it’s the start of a larger universe, full of fractured timelines, mind-bending puzzles, and machines that shouldn’t exist (all of which are already hinted at in the gorgeous cover art by Chris 'Fangorn' Baker!) We’re developing the book as a TV series, so stay tuned!

Thank you for your support, and if you're heading to Worldcon—see you in Seattle.
