Adeline Humphries is a 28-year-old dark romance author living in Manhattan with her husband and their two black cats, each a little shadow with a personality of their own. She is drawn to all things dark romance and dark feminine, and when she’s not lost in the pages of a twisted love story, she’s sipping coffee, reading obsessively, or cruising the Hudson River on their boat.

MONSTERS WEAR CROWNS is her debut novel and a passionate first step into the literary world she’s long dreamed of joining.

The second installment, MONSTERS CARVE THRONES is currently underway. Release is expected 2025.
