I'm the author of over 50 books for children plus an historical novella for adults.

I have been published by such companies as Puffin, Andre Deutsch, Hamish Hamilton, Cambridge University Press, Anglia Young Books and Poolbeg Press, and I'm currently working on my third series for Sweet Cherry Publishing.

I have been teaching creative writing, as well as copy-editing and proof-reading, for over 15 years, and also do manuscript appraisals at very competitive rates.
